A. When appropriate traffic control or regulatory signs giving notice of speeds are posted, the prima facie maximum speed limits designated upon said signs shall apply to the appropriate streets or portions of streets so posted.

B. In the absence of any speed limit sign designating a speed limit applicable thereto, the prima facie speed limit shall be twenty miles per hour.

C. 

1. Impose a fifteen mile per hour (MPH) speed limit for all off-highway vehicles not including motorcycles on all City roads (OHV speed limit).

2. The OHV speed limit is effective when appropriate signs giving notice are erected along City streets.

3. As used in this section:

a. “All-terrain vehicles” shall mean all-terrain Type I, II, and III vehicles as defined under Utah Code §§ 41-6a-102 and 41-22-2;

b. “City roads” shall have the same meaning as that set forth in Utah Code § 72-3-103.

c. “Off-highway vehicles” shall have the same meaning as that set forth in Utah Code § 41-22-2(14).) (Ord. 21-14, 2021; Ord. 20-15, 2020; Ord. 4-79 § 3, 1979: prior code § 14-15 (Schedule 1))
