Animal control officers and police officers who reasonably suspect an animal is infected with rabies may dispose of the animal in accordance with Utah Administrative Code Rule R386-702. It shall be the duty of any person owning or exercising control over such animal to surrender the animal to any police officer or animal control officer upon demand. (Ord. 07-12 (part), 2007)
