Any disabled person as defined in Section 41-1-49.8 of the Utah code Annotated 1953, as amended and as hereinafter amended, shall be allowed to park a motor vehicle for reasonable periods without charge in metered parking zones and restricted parking areas other than those available for emergency use in a manner as to allow proper access to the automobile by the disabled person. Only those vehicles carrying distinctive (logo) handicapped license plates shall be allowed to park in publicly owned parking zones reserved for the handicapped. All other vehicles shall be subject to an infraction for improper parking. (Ord. 84-07 § 1(b), 1984)
